The Sicilian Connection

"There's something about a man, a crisp white shirt and blue jeans..."
she says, her eyes glued to Fashion TV, the D&G SS2010 runway show in Milan.

Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana are synonymous with trend and sleek style, they know how to dress everything up. So when in Fall 2009 they debuted the 'Miss Sicily', bag snobs everywhere knew that was the iconic D&G bag the fashion world had been waiting for.

The quilted version was what came down the runway, but the bag has many variations. it comes in basic and classic WHITE and BLACK, red, snake skin and nude (both rare).

One of the first celebrities to get her hands on the bag was Miss Madonna (how we envy her), as she was the face for the their campaign. The likes of Fergie and Dita Von Teese have also gotten their well manicured mitts on it.

Although the bag critics have mixed feelings on the quilted version the one made of complete leather has unanimous adoration. It's price is waaaay lower than the much coveted Hermes Birkin or the fairly priced Chanel 2.55.

A visit to Kemi's Couture at 911 Mall Maitama will allay all fears or confirm all doubts. We at Style Cafe ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.
